Let God Be True and Every Man a Liar

“For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.” – Romans 3:3-4

Let God Be True and Every Man a Liar – Romans 3:3-4

Hi, friends! I hope that you are well. Thank you so much for your continued support of my blog. I appreciate you!!

Let God be true and every man a liar. There’s not a whole lot you can trust nowadays in this world. There are recalls of food, toothpaste, cleaning supplies, and not to mention people! There are some people who will try to get close to you just to hurt you. And there are some who will lie on you and do everything to disparage your name. But, let God be true and every man a liar! (Romans 3:4).

When it comes to those things, I’m so glad the Lord knows my heart and knows who I am. I know who I am. I am a servant of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a lover of God and a lover of people. I seek to heal and not hurt, to uplift and not tear down, to build and not destroy. I have no intention of ever hurting anyone nor have I ever. The Lord knows my heart. I hope that you can say that about yourself.

I love mercy, goodness, and truth. And the truth is: let God be true and every man a liar!

People lied on Jesus (Mark 14:56). People mocked Jesus (John 19:1-3). People betrayed Jesus (John 18:2-5). People reviled Jesus (Mark 15:32). People murdered Jesus on the cross of Calvary (John 19:17-18). And they numbered Him with evildoers (Mark 15:28).

So, if my Savior endured such treatment and He was and is the Holy One of God, then I know that I can endure similar and you can, too.

Jesus knew exactly Who He was. It didn’t matter that people didn’t believe Him and it didn’t matter that people mistreated Him and abused Him because none of that changed Who He was.

So, no matter how people try to denigrate me as a servant of Christ, the fact remains that I am a child of God. I am who I say I am. And I am who God says I am.

I don’t have to convince anyyone of who I am. God knows me. He knows my heart. He knows my intentions. He knows the truth – even when other people don’t.

And neither do you.

You don’t have to spend your life trying to prove yourself to people who have already decided what they want to believe about you. Keep serving. Keep loving. Keep doing what is right. Keep walking with Christ.

Jesus endured rejection, lies, betrayal, mockery, and persecution—and He never stopped being who He was.

Neither should we.

I know who I am. You know who you are. More importantly, God knows who we are.

So let the accusations fly. Let the opinions sway. Let the lies be told.

Above all: Let God be true and every man a liar.
