“And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, ‘How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?’” – Mark 2:16

Hi, everyone! I hope that you are well. Thank you once again for reading and showing your support of my blog. I appreciate you!!!!
Has the thought ever crossed your mind that you’re not good enough or worthy enough for God’s love? Most of us can probably answer yes to that question. But if we think about it, none of us really are good enough on our own. All of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
There’s good news though!! Christ died for you and me so that we could become worthy and good enough to be a part of God’s family through Him.
And no matter what you have done or how guilty you may feel or even be, Jesus Christ offers forgiveness. He does not discriminate. He welcomes all people to experience His love and His salvation.
Even the people during His time questioned why He ate with those who were on the outskirts of society. Notice Mark 2:16.
“And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, ‘How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?’”
Jesus dined with those who nobody else deemed worthy of their time or attention. And He is urging you and urging us all to come to Him. He says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
Bring your problems. Bring your burdens. Bring your sin-sick soul. He has the solution. Jesus heals. He delivers. And He saves. Yes, He will save you.
All it takes is being obedient to Christ in belief that He is the Son of God, in confessing that He is, in repenting of your sins, and being immersed in water for the forgiveness of your sins.
Don’t wait another minute wondering about if you are worthy because Christ is worthy. He is worthy of your obedience, your service, and your devotion to Him. So obey Him: believe that Jesus is Lord, confess that He is, repent of your sinful living, and be baptized so that you can be forgiven of your sins.
Will you come to Jesus? If not, what’s holding you back?
I would love to study with you and help you on your journey to Christ. Drop a note in the comments and let’s talk about it.
