When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, who do you call? Your mom, your friends, your preacher, or someone else? All of those people have the ability to not answer due to whatever reason. We’re humans and life gets in the way of the best made plans sometimes.
But, there is one who will always answer you, no matter what time of day or night it is – the Lord. God has declared: “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me” (Psalm 50:15).
The Lord wants us to reach out to Him in good times and in difficult times. He doesn’t sleep nor does He get weary. So, we can depend on the Lord, no matter what.
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7). Will you trust in the Lord? Will you call upon Him in your day of trouble? He stands waiting for you.
All you have to do to come to Jesus, is to believe that He is Lord, confess that He is, repent of your sins, and be immersed in water for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you can be saved this day and in your day of trouble.
May we all call upon Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of us all.
