Christ Leads The Way

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

Hi, everyone! I hope that you are well! Thank you for your continued show of love and support. I’m thankful to God for you, and, as always, I appreciate you!

When you wake up in the morning, what’s the first choice that you make? It’s amazing the amount of choices we all make each day. We choose whether we hit the snooze button and turn over and get up and start our day. We also choose what we wear, whether we spend time with God, and what routes to take. There are so many decisions that we make in a day.

But I submit to you that the most important decision we make this day and everyday is for whom do we live our lives. Are you living for yourself today? Are you living for family or others who need you? Or are you living for Jesus Christ?

The bible says, “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).

My choice today and every day is Jesus. I will serve the Lord and live for Him for the rest of my days.

Jesus Christ the Lord died so that we all could live good and up-right lives before God. Just as He rose from the grave, we too can rise to newness of life from our old ways of living. All it takes is obedience to Him in believing that Jesus is the Son of God, confessing such, repenting of your sins, and being immersed in water for the forgiveness of your sins? Will you choose Jesus? He chose you. And He chose me.

Who will you choose? Or, what will you choose? When situations arise today, will you allow your own impulses to take over or will you stop and think about what Jesus did and how He would handle things? Will you focus your thoughts on the word of God? Will you encourage others in the name of Christ Jesus?

Will you live this day and every day hereafter for yourself, for your job, for your children, or for the Lord?
