Hey friends! I hope that you and your families are well. Thank you for reading and following my blog. I appreciate your show of support. And as always, I appreciate you!

There are so many reasons to be grateful to God. Even in the midst of a pandemic, we can be thankful. As the psalmist penned, “It is good to give thanks to the Lord” (Psalm 92:1). He has been and is so good to us. If you’re reading this, you’re alive and that’s one thing to be thankful for to God. So many people didn’t have that chance today to open their eyes and breathe the air of a fresh new day.

The Apostle Paul instructs us to give thanks in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:18). It’s God’s will for us to be grateful in every situation. I know that sounds easier than it really is, but we can always find something for which to be thankful.

I’m thankful for life; for health and strength; for my daily sustenance; for the Christ who died for my sins; for the forgiveness of my sins; for the hope of an eternal home in heaven with God, and; for you for showing your support and being a part of this community at Christ Leads the Way. There’s so much more for which I am thankful. When you begin to count your blessings, you won’t be able to stop. So I’m going to keep tallying up my blessings as the days go by.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever” (2 Chronicles 16:34). We don’t have to wait until a certain holiday to give thanks. We can and should give thanks everyday.

What are you grateful for?
