Hey, friends! I hope that you are well. I want to thank you for reading and subscribing to my blog. Your show of love and support means so much to me. I wholeheartedly appreciate you!

Friends, we are living in some difficult days. Times are hard for many people. It’s easy to get depressed. But we must not wallow in depression. There’s hope for a better tomorrow. The scriptures remind us: “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).

We can find many reasons to be sad and depressed. But, we can also find many more reasons to be happy. We are blessed, and the blessing of the Lord makes us rich. If we count our blessings, then we’ll have no room for sorrow or sadness.

I know that I’ve been richly blessed. If you take the time to think about it, I’m pretty sure you are blessed, too. His blessings overtake us; it can be overwhelming when we sit and ponder about them. Many of us have all the things we need and many more things that we simply don’t need but want.

Yes, we can choose to be sad and roll around in the mire of discouragement and depression. Or we can choose to be encouraged and count our many blessings. We may even be surprised to see what the Lord has done.

I’m tallying up my blessings, and that includes you! You are a blessing to my life. I appreciate the kindnesses you show and have shown me. And I thank God for you.

I’m going to count my blessings today. Will you?
