“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.” – Isaiah 55:6

Hi, everyone! I hope that you are well. Thank you for your continued show of love and support in reading my blog. I appreciate you!!
Have you ever wanted to do something and thought that you’d do it once the new job comes through, or once the kids graduate from high school, or once the money lines up right? I think most of us have had those moments. A prime example is: I’ll start my diet once Monday comes around. Well, when we put things off, it gets harder to sctually do them.
But, what about your soul? Have you been longing for a connection with God and putting it off until the perfect time comes? I want to encourage you: the time is now! “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near” (Isaiah 55:6).
None of us know when our last day on this earth might be. Today just may be the last. So, God is calling us to come to Him now. Why wait when you can experience the love, the forgiveness, and the peace that Christ offers now?
Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8). The Lord wants us to seek Him. He said that if we seek Him, we will find Him.
And we don’t have to wait for a dream or a whisper or for a preacher to show us God. We can find Him in His word, the Bible. He has shown us the way to Him. Spend time with God in bible study, pray, meditate on Him and His goodness. Will you seek the Lord today? He’s waiting for you.
What are you doing to seek the Lord today?
