“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” – Romans 15:4

Hey friends! Thank you so much for reading and showing me love and support. I thank God for you. And as always, I appreciate you!!
Friends, I’m so glad that we’re no longer under the law of Moses. That includes the 10 Commandments and laws about sacrificing animals. No one would be able to keep all those laws and ordinances today. Thankfully, we don’t have to keep the Old Covenant law but we have a New Covenant under Christ Jesus that’s based upon faith in Him.
As Paul explained to the Galatians, we should be dead to the law (Galatians 2:19). The law was first added because of sin and wrongdoing and was only in effect until the seed, which is Christ, came (Galatians 3:19). When people try to adhere to the law, it makes them fall from grace (Galatians 5:4). The law keeps men in bondage, but faith makes us free (Galatians 3:22). We are redeemed from the law (Galatians 3:13).
We are justified – made right with God – by faith in Christ, not by the law (Galatians 2:16). Just trying to keep the 10 Commandments is not enough to get us into heaven. Faith gives us promise (Galatians 3:22). Faith allows redemption and adoption (Galatians 4:5). And faith makes us heirs (Galatians 4:7).
Do you believe in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God? Have you obeyed Him in faith? If not, obey His commands today, as laid out in the New Covenant. Believe that Jesus is Lord of all (John 8:24). Repent of your sins (Luke 13:3). Confess the wonderful name of Jesus (Matthew 10:32-33). And be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins (Mark 16:16). Then you will have the promise of faith.
Thank God for the law which leads us to Christ. Thank God that we’re no longer subject to the law. And thank God for faith in Christ Jesus.
