“Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses commanded you; do not turn from it from the right hand of to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:7

Hey friends! I hope that you are well! Thank you for your continuing show of love and support. I appreciate you!!
Friends, being a Christian is not for the faint of heart. It takes some real commitment to be a true follower of Christ. I mean, you have to have dedication and discipline to adhere to the Word of God. That’s why the Lord reminded Joshua several times to be strong and courageous.
Notice in Joshua 1, verse 7, the Lord told Joshua to be strong and very courageous, that he may observe to do all the law which Moses commanded. It takes courage to follow the law of Christ (we’re no longer under the law of Moses). And you have to be strong. This is because it gets difficult on the journey for a Christian – especially in a society where God has become second to self and everyone around is doing what they please instead of what the Lord desires.
It takes courage to stand up for what’s good, and right, and just, when you can be ridiculed for it or even hurt. It takes bravery to take a stand for unborn babies when everyone else is screaming it’s a woman’s choice to kill her child. And it takes strength to withstand temptation when Satan comes to entice you to do the wrong thing and sin.
Do you have the courage and the strength to follow Christ, even in the midst of sickness, sorrow, and suffering?
Are you a Christian?
If not, the Lord will strengthen and encourage you. You just have to trust and obey Him. Believe that Jesus is Lord (John 8:24), repent of your sins (Acts 2:38), confess the name of Jesus (Romans 10:9-10), and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins (Mark 16:16). Then you can live a faithful life in service to the Lord.
Christians, let’s be strong and very courageous!
