“Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.” – Micah 7:8
Hey friends! I hope that you are well. Thank you for reading and subscribing to my blog! As always, I appreciate you!!
The enemy is busy, friends. With all that’s going on in the world, on top of the everyday cares of life, there’s enough to bring anybody down. Admittedly, sometimes we slip and fall of our own doing and not because of what’s happening around us. Sin and hardships can make us fall. At times, it seems like there’s one thing after another. But one thing about it: “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity” (Proverbs 24:16).
When the righteous fall, we get back up again. We don’t stay down, we rise.
So whatever situation you are going through that has you down, or whatever sin you have fallen into, you do not have to stay down. Get back up again. No matter how many times you’ve fallen, I want to encourage you.
Are you struggling with sin in your life? Do you keep falling into the same pattern of sin? Get back up, and walk in the light. “If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
Don’t let the enemy gloat over you. If you stay down, he will.
“”Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.” – Micah 7:8
Don’t stay in your sin. If you’ve fallen, you can get back up again. Don’t stay down in negative circumstances. Get back up again. The blood of Jesus will cleanse you of all sin.
The Lord knew we would sin; we are imperfect beings. But He made provisions for us when we do sin. If you don’t know the Lord, you can have the forgiveness of sins that He offers.
All you have to do is obey Him: Believe that Jesus is Lord (Mark 16:16), repent of your sins (Acts 2:38), confess that Jesus is Lord (Matthew 10:32-33), and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins (Mark 16:16). Then the Lord will add you to His body, the church, and you can rise to newness of life in Christ.
Have you fallen down on hard times? Have you fallen into sin? Don’t stay down. Get back up again!
“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.” – Psalm 37:24
