Jesus is Our Refuge in Times of Suffering

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” – Romans 8:18

Hi, friends. I hope that you are well. Thank you so much for your kindness and support. I appreciate you!!!

Troubles in this life are things we all experience to some degree or another. But with Jesus, everything in this life is better. I’m not sure how people experience life’s difficulties and struggles without having the Lord by their side.

The bible says in Romans 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

Whatever we go through in this life as followers of Christ is nothing compared to the glory we will experience when we make it to heaven with the Lord.

So, lift your head up. Bask in the joy of the Lord. And know that Jesus is able to see you through. If you aren’t a follower of Christ, you can become one. You don’t have to go through the challenges life throws at you without the help of a wonderful Savior who delivers and is also faithful.

All you have to do is obey Jesus’ commands to be welcomed into His family and have refuge in Him. Obedience means you must believe that Jesus is Lord, confess it, repent of your sins, and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. Don’t go through life without Jesus. The sufferings of life are incomparable to the love, the peace, the forgiveness, and the glory that is found in Christ Jesus.

How has knowing Jesus helped you when sufferings come?
