“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” – Psalm 84:10
Hey friends! I hope that you and your family are well. I’m glad that although we are distanced physically we can communicate here. Stop by in the comments to say hello. I want to hear from you and know how you’re holding up during these difficult times that we face. Thank you for reading. I want you to know that I appreciate you!
I also want to encourage you. Although situations may seem bleak and circumstances are dire, better days are coming. Hold onto that hope and that assurance from God. No matter what’s going on in the world or in our personal daily lives, if we have the Lord on our side, we don’t have to worry.
We are God’s children and He will take care of us. So despite how the day may seem – if you’ve a lost a loved one, your job, your income, or your health – a day with the Lord is better than one thousand days without Him (Psalm 84:10). And God is still in control.
He has promised us that better is coming – in this life and the next. Whatever you’re facing – it may be challenging now, but put your trust and your faith in God that He will do what He said. I am confident of better things concerning you (Hebrews 6:9).
“The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” – Ecclesiastes 7:8
Christians have a better hope that draws us nearer to God (Hebrews 7:19). We have the hope of a better country – a heavenly one (Hebrews 11:16) and the hope of a better and an enduring possession in heaven (Hebrews 10:34).
Are you a Christian? Do you have the hope of better things to come? Do you trust in the Lord for better things for your life? If not, you can. You can have better, and you can be better with Christ Jesus the Lord. Better things accompany salvation (Hebrews 6:9). If you are not saved you can be by believing in Jesus Christ, confessing His sweet name, repenting of your sins, and being baptized. Then you can have the hope of a much better life.
Be encouraged friends. Better days are coming.
