Let’s Be Faithful!

“Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.” – Psalm 36:5

Hey friends! I hope that you are well. Thank you for showing your support in reading. I appreciate you!

God is so faithful! We can trust and depend on Him. He’s not like humans. We can stand on His Word and believe His promises. “And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent” (1 Samuel 15:29).

God the Father is faithful. Jesus His Son is faithful also. Isaiah prophesied that “righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist” (Isaiah 11:5). The Hebrews writer called Him a faithful High Priest (Heb. 2:17). And John referred to Christ as the faithful witness (Revelation 1:5). There’s no question of Jesus’ faithfulness (2 Thessalonians 3:3). He was faithful unto death on the cross.

And we, too, should be faithful. We should be faithful in our service, faithful in our study of His Word, faithful in our giving, faithful in our prayers, and faithful in our worship to the God of heaven.

How faithful are you? Can God depend on you to serve Him? Can He depend on you to study His Word? Can He trust that you will be charitable and prayerful? Can He depend on you to attend the worship services of the church?

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” – 1 Cor. 4:2

We are to be imitators of Christ. Jesus explained that if we are faithful over little, He will bless us with much more (Matthew 25:21). Are you faithful with what God has blessed you with or are you waiting around for more?

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” – Deuteronomy 7:9

We’re encouraged to be faithful unto death so that we will receive a crown of life (Revelation 2:10). But even when we fail and we are not faithful like we should be, God remains the same. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:13).

Is your heart dedicated to serving the Lord?

Let’s be faithful to Him in every possible way!
