God is Good!

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” – 1 Chronicles 16:34

Forgive me if I’m a bit behind on the times and what’s going on in popular culture. I decided not to read the news or media at least for a day, since so much of it is fake and the result of bad reporting. They are usually reporting on the same thing they were talking about a month ago. They just re-cycle news.

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” – Lamentations 3:22-23

Unlike the news, God’s mercies are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23). He is so good to me. He’s just good at what He does. It’s that simple.

He satisfies my needs and takes good care of me.

He has the perfect provision. No one else but God can supply just what I need.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

“For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.” – Psalm 92:4

He holds on to me with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

I’m so glad to know the Lord and have Him as my Savior.

You can know the Lord God of heaven, too. Obey the gospel: believe that Jesus is the Christ, repent of your sins, confess that He is Lord, be immersed for the forgiveness of your sins, and live a faithful life until death. Then, you can know how good God really is.

“The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them.” – Psalm 111:2
