You Can Be Saved and Know It

ask blackboard chalk board chalkboard

If you died today, would you be ready to meet the Lord? Where would you say your soul would be headed – to heaven or to hell?

It’s important to know the answers to those questions. Your soul doesn’t have to experience an eternity of damnation in hell. You can be saved from it, and you can know it.

For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. – 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3

You can have that blessed assurance of a home in glory with God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

You don’t have to wonder what’s going to happen to your soul at death if you follow what God says to do in His Word. He has told us exactly what to do to secure our home with Him.

I’m going to heaven, and I want you to go, too. I just want to be in His presence. Continually. Forever. And I want to get there and be with loved ones who have gone on before me, and those who will go after me. I can hardly wait.

I want us to examine, over a few posts, what the Bible says about how to be saved and how you can know for sure if you are saved or not.

Jesus is coming back for His people, and nobody knows when. Will you be ready? Do you anticipate Him coming right away? Or, do you know you’re not living the way you should and that you need to get right with God?

“God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:9
