Christ Leads The Way

Hi, everyone! I hope that you are well. Thank you so much for your support of my blog. I appreciate you!!

When you think of love, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s the first time you held your baby in your arms. Or perhaps you think of your loved ones. The Bible has a lot to say about love. Most importantly, God is love (1 John 4:8).

If we don’t love one another, then we don’t know God because God is love.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Love never fails.

God never fails. Do you have love for your fellow human beings? Do you want to see the best for them? Because of God, those of us who love do not want to see another person hurt. We do not want them abused. We don’t want them treated negatively in any way. Love builds up. It doesn’t tear others down.

God’s love is so great. I’m so thankful for His love. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. He did it for you, too! And I’m thankful that He didn’t stay dead. He rose to newness of life so that we can too. I serve a risen Savior.

Do you know God? Do you know love and have love for your fellow human beings? If you don’t know God, you can. You can experience His love through obedience of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Believe that Jesus is Lord, confess such, repent of your sins, and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you can bask in the love of Jesus and know what true love really is.

May we all seek to have the kind of love that Jesus has for us – a love that is forgiving, caring, patient, and kind.
