Fully Committed

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” – Psalm 37:5

Hi, friends! I hope that you are well! Thanks so much for your show of love and support in reading my blog. I appreciate you!!

As the year winds down, many of us are reflecting over the past few months and our progress (or lack thereof) towards our goals. It’s a great time to evaluate where we are with the Lord Jesus and recenter our focus on Him.

David reminds us in Psalm 37:3-5 to “Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, and He shall bring it to pass.”

I don’t know about you all, but I’m fully committed to my king! And that’s just how God wants us to be. We were created to be one – one with Him. Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords desires our full attention and focus. And we’re encouraged to do good, to partake in His faithfulness, and to delight ourselves in Him. We must dedicate our lives to Jesus. He sacrificed His life for ours on the cross. And for that, I am so grateful. I imagine that you are thankful to the Lord, too!

My desire is for my King and to be with him forever. Have you committed your ways to the Lord?
