“Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” – Hebrews 10:17

Hi, friends! I hope that you are well. Thanks so much for reading and showing your support! I really appreciate you!!
Luke chapter 15 portrays a beautiful picture of forgiveness. When the younger son of a father of two asked his father for his inheritance early, he left home to a far away country and squandered his living. Finally after he was so hungry that he considered eating out of the pen with the swine that he fed, he came to himself and went to seek his father’s forgiveness. Before he even got to his father’s house, his father came out to meet him and held a big party for him, celebrating his return.
The father in the above parable that Jesus shared was not angry, he was happy that his son has repented – or changed his mind – and returned home. That’s how Christ is with us. When we repent and ask for forgiveness, He forgives us and He remembers our sin no more (Hebrews 10:17).
But make no mistake: He does not like to share, our devotion. When we stray away from Him and put other gods, people, or things before Him, it grieves Him (Ephesians 4:30). In other words, just because He forgives does not give us a license to go out and do whatever we want and hurt Him. No, it doesn’t work like that. When He forgives, it doesn’t mean keep doing it.
But, whatever you’ve done, the Lord can and will forgive. He’s standing with open arms, like the father of the prodigal son – waiting for you and saying, I forgive you. I love you. You’ve rolled around in the mud long enough. Come home.
