Not A Word Will Fail

“Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” – Joshua 21:45

God’s Word Will Not Fail

Hey friends! I hope that you and your families are well. Thank you so much for continuing to read and showing your support for me. I appreciate you!❤

Friends, I know that we’re living in some difficult times, and it can be very discouraging when facing various life obstacles. But I want to encourage you. There is hope for a brighter day.

The Word of God explains to us that the righteous will have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19). Christians aren’t exempt from troubles; we are some of the very ones who will have them. It’s so that God will get the glory and make us stronger.

We can stand on His promises and rest assured that the Lord will do just what He says. That’s what He did for the Israelites, and that’s what He’ll do for followers of Christ.

“So the Lord gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. The Lord gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.”

Joshua 21:43-44

The text in Joshua chapter 21 concludes: “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass” (Joshua 21:45). That’s encouragement for us today. If not a word of anything good failed that the Lord had spoken about the children of Israel, not a word of the Lord will fail of anything good that He has spoken about His children in Christ.

So when the Lord promises that all things will work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose, we can trust that not a word will fail (Romans 8:28).

When the Lord promises that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, we can be assured that not a word will fail (Romans 8:27).

And when He promises that He is with us, that He will strengthen us, that He will help us, and that He will hold us up with His righteous right hand, we can rely upon that not a word will fail (Isaiah 41:10).

That’s comforting, friends: not a word will fail of any good thing that the Lord has spoken!

May God bless you and keep you.

If God is for us, who can be against us? If God is for us, who cares what others say? With God, is a majority of two, Martin Luther
